THE HOWLING DIABLOS SHOW!

Mark Sisto Retro: Kimmer and Tino Gross
Got a sweet invite from Tino Gross to come out and shoot the Howling Diablos at the Traveling Fork last Saturday night in Livonia. The Diablos never disappoint and are such a blast to watch! I have a really hard time shooting them as they never stop moving and I can't stop dancing to hold the camera still! Dang I need a better tripod! The club was huge and the crowd was really into the spirit of the band. Mark Sisto was in town so we snatched him and our pals Ivan Kral and Cindy Hudson to make the trip out to Livonia.

Finally got a great shot with one of my legendary drummer pals Johnny Bee. I am trying to do the BEE point but the glasses got in the way. Lucky for me Ivan Kral generously helped Kimmer out with equipment malfunctions and shot a lot of stills while I tried to stand still on stage with the band and 2 of my favorite Motor City Rah Rahs! Susie and Viv.

I know it was a tough job for Mark having me to pose him with so many of my friends.... He hung in there and made the best of it LOL Dig the Machinegun Thompson DKT/MC5 shirt!

Thanks to Tino, BEE, The HD's Rah Rah's, Rick, Mark and Ivan and Cindy! More Video coming tomorrow

In my "shooting music performers tutorial" I should have warned you that dancing and photographing simultaneously are not compatible apps.
My own dancing ability is seriously stunted for someone who loves music as I do due to RIGOROUS training not to move while depressing the shutter.
Even stedi-cams can't countermand bopping to the pogo or watusi.
"Would have liked to have seen this. If the Raddison would have moved the salad bar out of the way and sprung for some real lights, we could see the performers. I noticed the Rad. left their big screen T.V.s blazing tho! Typical ... Worthy effort Kim :) !"
