"Transformers 4" will begin shooting in Metro Detroit this spring, the Michigan Film Office announced Wednesday. It's a follow up to 2011's "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," also shot in Metro Detroit along with the first film that was released in 2007.
The fourth installment of the Michael Bay-directed series was awarded an incentive of $20 million on $81,933,992 of projected in-state expenditures. "Transformers 4" is expected to hire 368 Michigan workers. mbaetens@detroitnews.com
