I liked to sit by the dance floor and watch the couples dance. Then when I was around 10 or 11 we got a boat! My dad would fill it up with kids and we'd dock on Boblo and have a blast all day! Some of the rides were a little sketchy with accidents happening but there was not a summer that went by that I missed the train ride!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856333241837525662.post-56050893589905808442013-06-11T17:32:21.363-04:002013-06-11T17:32:21.363-04:00Went there in the early '60's, one of my b...Went there in the early '60's, one of my best memories of my trips to see grama and grandpa in Detroit. The boat ride was lots of fun, with a live D.J. dancefloor & gift shops. Too bad the place is no longer standing. The Michigan area needs places like this to keep it's residents Home, & Keeps Visitors visiting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856333241837525662.post-2798140002888007362009-11-21T20:25:40.845-05:002009-11-21T20:25:40.845-05:00"Went when I was really young, like 4-5 then ..."Went when I was really young, like 4-5 then remember for the longest time wanting to go back but never getting there..."Scott Goinsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856333241837525662.post-31214060440083808242009-11-21T10:03:36.110-05:002009-11-21T10:03:36.110-05:00Fond Memories for sureFond Memories for sureKevin Sykesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3856333241837525662.post-43509712526692435242009-11-21T00:21:08.224-05:002009-11-21T00:21:08.224-05:00"OMG Memory Lane for sure.
