DETROIT 187: FIRST EPISODE TONIGHT ON ABC!

We can't wait for a new gritty cop show! As a huge fan of Hill St. Blues, Early episodes of NYPD Blue, The Sopranos, and OZ, I once again have a reason to watch TV on Tuesday nights! The cast are some of my favorite actors.

Det. Fitch (Michael Imperioli) (Sopranos) (Goodfellas)

Sgt. Longford (James McDaniel) NYPD BLUE

Det. Stone (D.J. Cotrona)Law & Order: SVU

Det. Washington (Jon Michael Hill)

Det. Sanchez (Natalie Martinez)

That's true. The California Penal Code (in which 187 is the statute concerning first degree murder) doesn't apply in Detroit ): The equivalent in the Michigan PC is 750.316

  4. I just read in the Detroit News where the producers admit that 187 is homicide in California but they like the name and plan to keep it...

  5. Bummed this show is typically lame. Too bad HBO didn't produce it.

  7. I am disappointed by the acting in the show. I had hoped it would be like the Sopranos. It should have been produced on HBO not lame ABC. I know a lot of Detroit officers and they are fabulous and much more snarky than those people...Take it up a notch Like Hill St Blues ABC
