As Hurricane Sandy leaves a path of destruction across the East Coast of North America, classic rockers have taken to Twitter to share their support with those affected by the storm, and to urge their fans to remain safe as flooding and high winds continue to affect much of America and Canada.
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler sent his thoughts and prayers to all his followers in harm’s way, as did Motley Crue members Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx. Sammy Hagar, whose Atlantic City Beach Bar and Grill sits directly in the storm’s path, reminds his fans that buildings can be repaired and urges them to focus on personal safety.
Below are a collection of Sandy-related classic rock tweets. We hope everyone made it through the storm as safely as possible and urge everyone to remain cautious as its effects continue to be revealed.
