FULL STURGEON MOON IN AQUARIUS AUG 3

The Sun now tours Leo, and today, the Moon reaches its point of maximum light with a Full Moon in opposition – in your sign Aquarius. Though it’s a season for partnership this Full Moon puts the spotlight firmly on you!

The next full Moon will be midday on Monday, August 3, 2020, appearing "opposite" the Sun (in Earth-based longitude) at 11:59 AM EDT. The Moon will appear full for about three days centered around this time, from late Saturday night through early Wednesday morning.

The Farmer's Almanac first published "Indian" names for the Full Moons in the 1930s, and over time these names have become widely known and used. According to this almanac, as the full Moon in August and the second full Moon of Summer, the Algonquin tribes in what is now the northeastern USA called this the Sturgeon Moon after the large fish that were more easily caught this time of year in the Great Lakes

RARE BLACK NEW SUPERMOON JULY 31 2019!

(CNN) So you've heard of a blood moon, and maybe even a blue moon, but what about a black moon?

The phenomenon is occurring again in North America on July 31 -- the first one since 2016. The rest of the world will have to wait until August 30.

But, what does this even mean? Why is it important? Here's everything you need to know about this astronomical event.

A black moon is basically the second new moon of the month, something that rarely occurs. It works similarly to a Leap Year. A lunar cycle typically takes about 29 days to complete, but our months are slightly longer.

So sometimes, about every 32 months, we happen to get two full moons or two new moons. The second full moon in a month is called a blue moon, and the second new moon is called a black moon. Read More

Unlike past supermoon events, this upcoming black supermoon won't make for an impressive spectacle. A new moon occurs when the Moon falls between the Earth and the Sun. At this point in the lunar cycle, the Moon appears as a black, practically invisible silhouette in the night sky.

Even if you won't be able to see the Moon itself, you should still make time to look up on the night of Wednesday, July 31. A dark new moon creates the perfect viewing conditions for the multiple meteor showers that are active this time of year. To catch potential shooting stars when skies are darkest, wait until 11:12 p.m. EDT for the Moon to reach its full new moon phase.

SOLAR ECLIPSE TODAY AND WHAT NEEDS TO COME IN OR LEAVE YOUR LIFE

Physically, a solar eclipse is a celestial event that happens around two to five times a year when the sun, moon, and earth align in such a way that the sun will appear to go behind the moon. Spiritually, eclipses are times when change can happen swiftly and unexpectedly.

Solar eclipses are like supercharged new moons, but there is also unexplainable magic and mystery to them. New moons are a time of planning and planting. New moon rituals can help us harness the new moon's energy. While you can’t control eclipses, you can be open to what comes in and accept what needs to leave your life. READ MORE

RARE! FULL BLUE FLOWER MOON 5-18-2019

May's full moon is typically known as the flower moon because of all the blooms this month. This year it coincides with a rare occurrence: a blue moon.

Of course, Saturday's moon won't actually be blue. And the reason for the name is a little confusing.

A blue moon is the second of two full moons in a month -- but it can also be the third of four full moons during a single season. In this case, it's the third of four full moons this spring. These don't occur as often as two full moons in a month.

"The name 'Blue Moon' has nothing to do with the color of the Moon," Gianluca Masi, astrophysicist and director of the Virtual Telescope Project in Rome, wrote in an email. "Every two to three years we have 13 full Moons within a year. This way, we can have four full Moons during a given season or two full Moons in a given month."

FULL PINK MOON COMPLETIONS RESOLUTIONS FREEDOM

The Pink Moon rises on Friday, April 19. The full moon of April, called the Pink Moon, will occur on the morning of April 19 at 7:12 a.m. EDT.

April 19 Libra Full Moon - Completions, Resolutions, Setting Yourself Free
The second Libra Full Moon of 2019 is a time to complete a part of your soul's journey that allows you to move forward with greater confidence and connection to who you are now. The moon at 29 degrees Libra is asking for objective understanding around relationship dynamics or patterns that you are meant to see in yourself.

Venus in Pisces is the ruler of this Full Moon and she is asking you to be kind to your heart and loving around the lessons that are ending. A strong completion energy is within this lunar cycle. Let go consciously or get dragged.

The Full Pink Moon’s name comes from the abundance of moss phlox, a common little pink flower that typically begins to spread across the ground in early spring.

For observers on the U.S. East Coast, the Pink Moon will rise at about 8 p.m. the evening of April 19 and set at around 7 a.m. the next morning, according to the U.S. Naval Observatory. The moon will be in Libra. The sun will rise about an hour before moonset on April 20, so for about an hour, the nearly full moon and the sun will both appear in the sky.

Setting personal boundaries, as much as opening up, is a component of the principles of love or humanity. Hence, a protected space is being created in which we can develop freely. Not all influences we are surrounded by or encounter support our path. Sometimes we need encouragement to say “no”. This can help us to turn toward other influences and to dissolve our limitations. Behind this stands the “yes” toward life that we chose.

BLOOD MOON JULY 27 WILL HAVE LONGEST LUNAR ECLIPSE IN A CENTURY

The Spiritual Meaning Of The Blood Moon In July 2018 Will Bring Major Change To Your Life

A lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, Earth, and moon are directly aligned, and the moon's orbit brings it directly into Earth's shadow. During the eclipse, the moon will pass through the darkest region of Earth's shadow, known as the umbra, which will give the moon a reddish "blood moon" sheen.

The full moon will be on Wednesday (or Thursday for different time zones)! It is the second full moon in January, a so called "blue moon". Simultaneously, a total lunar eclipse will take place!
