THE LABIANCA MURDER HOUSE IS UP FOR SALE AT 2 MILLION

3311 Waverly Drive in Los Angeles' Los Feliz neighborhood, a potential home buyer wouldn't suspect anything bad had happened at the house.

The description details a "classic 1920s Los Feliz gated single story home" with "breathtaking" views.

But in 1969, the home was the scene of the grisly murders of supermarket executive Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary, at the hands of four Charles Manson followers.

The couple was killed August 10, the day after the Manson "family" murdered actress Sharon Tate, who was pregnant at the time, and four others about 11 miles away.

As Deadline noted, the home has been listed just weeks before the 50th anniversary of the killings and as Quentin Tarantino’s film "Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood" is set to remember that era.

A photo shared by the real estate listing service MLS on July 20, 2019, shows 3311 Waverly Drive in Los Feliz.

The listing makes no mention of the infamous LaBianca murders, which seized the city with terror. Under California law, the owner of a property only has to disclose a death on the property if it happens within three years of the purchase.

The LaBianca house, as it's known, has changed hands several times since the murders in 1969 and last sold in 1998. The 1,655-square-foot house is listed at $1,988,800, slightly below market value. The listing went up July 10.

The agent for the listing, Robert Giambalvo, said interest has been "extremely high" in the property. However, Giambalvo is treating it like any other listing, though he is disclosing that the murders happened.

"It's been so long since the event that it's a non-issue for most people," Giambalvo said. "Most of the buyers, I'm finding, were born after. They're younger than 50 years old." Read More

ARETHA FRANKLIN'S BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP HOME FOR SALE!

Nearly two months after the death of Aretha Franklin, The Queen of Soul's 4,148-square-foot “castle”—a five-bedroom manse with 6.5 bathrooms in Bloomfield Township, Michigan—is hitting the market with a RESPECT-able $800,000 asking price.

Should it get a matching offer, the profit will be divided among Aretha Franklin’s four sons, an agreeable outcome considering that at the time of her death she didn't have a will to settle her $80 million estate.

The home—which has now been cleared of the artist's belongings—is situated in the exclusive Hills of Lone Pine area, with access to a community swimming pool and community tennis courts.

The marble-decorated entrance flows into a double-floor great room with hardwood floors, extensive floor-to-ceiling windows, and a fireplace.

The master suite is also awash in marble accents and includes a large walk-in closet, as do most of the bedroom suites in this grand abode.

The house has an impressive amount of outdoor living space thanks to a massive deck that overlooks a large yard and two ponds. Other amenities include a three-car garage, a sauna, and a jetted tub.

While the home is part of the $2 million in property Franklin owned in and around the Detroit area, the singer was living at Riverfront Towers in downtown Detroit at the time of her passing.

THE CHILTERN ESTATE HILLSBOROUGH CALIFORNIA

Completed in 1992, Chiltern reflects the spirit of English Tudor & Elizabethan Country estates. Situated on 6.7 secluded acres, the main house is 36,000 square feet with museum quality artifacts throughout. Indoor pool & raquetball court, pool house, outdoor pool, tennis ct. Also featured are spectacular grounds with waterfalls, koi pond, English rose & zen gardens.

For 835 Chiltern Road is all that and more. So much more! The property, billed by Christie’s International as “one of the West Coast’s largest private residences,” includes a 5 bedroom main house nearly 36,000 square feet.

Not satisfied? You will also find three separate apartments?. and a guest house, all of it resting peacefully on more than six acres of private park land. Built in 1992, the estate manages to straddle the atmosphere of an Elizabethan castle—yes, those are actual 15th century Gothic doorways you’re drooling over-- with all (and we do mean all) mods con: indoor and outdoor pool; gym; racquetball, squash and tennis courts; library; home theater; master suite with his and her dressing rooms; 13 fireplaces, offices and an art gallery.

Outside find fruit orchards, English gardens with a maze(!), waterfalls, koi ponds and bay views. All that splendor will only cost you $48,888,000. Don’t have the cash on hand? Finance it for a mere $258,050 a month. So yes, you could pay the mortgage here or buy a new house every month or two somewhere else; but something tells us those houses won’t look quite like The Chiltern.
