Inspired by actual events, Pure tells the story of Noah Funk, a newly-elected Mennonite pastor, who’s determined to rid his community of drug traffickers. He’ll stop at nothing to protect his family, his people and his faith-based way of life.
But, by doing so, he violates the Mennonite principle of non-resistance which raises the central question posed by the series – the perennial moral dilemma at the heart of the human experience: “How do we fight evil without becoming evil ourselves?”
