Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are lending their encouragement to another worthy cause as it was revealed this week that they will support a new initiative encouraging young people to rethink their online interactions.
The BBC has just launched their 'Own It' app which will recognize if a child is about to type something nasty or negative online to another person and remind them to rethink what they are about to send. The app has been designed and developed along with input and support from many of the organizations and individuals that make up Prince William's Cyberbullying Taskforce.
This clever initiative also identifies language which suggests when a child is in danger subsequently offering advice and advising they speak with a trusted adult. As well as this vital support, the app also features a special keyboard allowing young people to record how they are feeling, offer support and give advice if their recordings raise any concerns.
Speaking of the app in a statement, The Duke of Cambridge said, "It is fantastic the BBC has launched an app which will provide support to young people as they navigate the online world. I am delighted to see this positive and practical outcome resulting from The Royal Foundation Taskforce on the Prevention of Cyberbullying." Read More

Broadcast networks set to air the wedding in real time include BBC America, ABC, TLC, PBS, Fox News, and HBO. We see London where ordinary people struggle for their own place and moment in history by creating a public theatre called The Rose. This place is often visited by a nobleman Edward de Vere (Rhys Ifans), the 17th Earl of Oxford who is actually the central figure.
There he sees how easily spectators can be influenced by interpreting stories. In the same place another important figure, Ben Jonson (Sebastian Armesto) a play writer is arrested for insurrection against the established order through his play.
This is the moment where de Vere decides to use Jonson’s position and employ his plays written in secrecy with a hidden message for the spectators (the people) and promote the rebel cause of Robert Devereux (Sam Reid), 2nd Earl of Essex against the Queen.
It was rumored that the Earl of Essex is an illegitimate son of Elizabeth I, what makes the cause even greater vis a vis Cecil’s plan to bring James VI of Scotland (James Clyde), son of Mary, Queen of Scotland as a crowned king of England and end the Tudor dynasty.
Jonson is rescued by de Vere in return to materialize the plan.
The first play is Henry V, and the crowd bursts out for the writer’s name. But he could not get risque his name so as an author puts a semiliterate, drunk and below average young actor William Shakespeare (Rafe Spall). Although this was an unexpected start, Jonson will stay confidant to de Vere.
The other legendary plays follow, such as Romeo and Juliet where Shakespeare himself is to play Romeo. Hamlet is performed at court for the Queen in which there is also a hidden moment (death of Polonius) that tells us for the unresolved past between de Vere and the Cecils.
This animosity is based on the love affair between de Vere and the Queen during their youth (Edward de Vere – Jamie Cambell Bower /Elizabeth I Joely Richardson) because de Vere is Willliam’s son in law for his daughter Anne (Amy Kwolek/Helen Baxendale).
Edward de Vere and Elizabeth have a son, Henry Wriothesley, 3rd Earl of Southampton (Xavier Samuel), whose identity is known only by de Vere and the Cecils. He wrote Venus and Adonis to remind Elizabeth of their love.
But Shakespeare discovers the true author of the plays and extorts money, and that’s how he builds the Globe Theatre and gains patronage. Jonson is disappointed, they have a quarrel, but he fails to reveal the fraud. Shakespeare is dangerous, even Christopher Marlowe (Trystan Gravelle) ends up dead for discovering the truth about the other author.
The climax of the story is the performance of the play Richard III in which Robert Cecil is ridiculed (he was a humpback), but also sways the crowd and starts a riot that will help Essex and Southampton to march in the Palace and claim the throne in peace. But the plan failed because of the betrayal of Ben Jonson to Robert Cecil, so Essex and Southampton are arrested as rebels and are set to be executed.
This happens in front Edward de Vere eyes, and Robert Cecil then tells him a disturbing secret about Elizabeth’s many illegitimate sons including de Vere himself what makes them caught in incest. Edward de Vere is broken, but he has a private meeting with Elizabeth and tells her about their son, so Earl of Southampton is saved. However, she insists that the true author of “Shakespeare’s“ plays is never to be revealed.
Robert Cecil wanted the manuscript destroyed like he has stated “ Plays are the work of the devil – born from a cesspool of plague, whoredom, thievery, fornication, and heresy“ so he burns The Rose theatre with them inside it.
But Ben Jonson at the end discovers they’ve survived the fire and leaves us with the thought that the truth is still out there.

After reports, that the Lord Chamberlain called senior aides to Her Majesty for an emergency meeting at Buckingham Palace from all the Royal Households, the French media are reporting that the Duke of Edinburgh has died at the age of 95. They were premature, he was over ecerted and today the Palace announced that the Prince will retire from public duty. Well done I say, he is 95 and has done his duty!

Queen Elizabeth became the longest-reigning monarch of the United Kingdom today. As Queen, she has seen 12 Presidents, 12 British prime ministers, and seven popes.
She breaks the record held by her great-great grandmother Queen Victoria, who reigned for 63 years, seven months, and two days.
The Queen has thanked well-wishers at home and overseas for their "touching messages of kindness" as she becomes Britain's longest-reigning monarch.
Speaking in the Scottish Borders, the 89-year-old monarch said the title was "not one to which I have ever aspired".
At 17:30 BST she had reigned for 23,226 days, 16 hours and approximately 30 minutes - surpassing the reign of her great-great-grandmother Queen Victoria.
David Cameron said the service the Queen had given was "truly humbling".
Dressed in turquoise with her trusty black handbag at her side, the Queen spoke briefly to the gathered crowds earlier.

LONDON — A princess is born.Prince William’s wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, “was safely delivered of a daughter” Saturday morning, less than three hours of checking into central London’s St. Mary’s Hospital, royal officials said.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their baby daughter Princess Charlotte make their first appearance outside the Lindo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London. The couple left for Kensington Palace soon after.
Kensington Palace said the baby was born at 8:34 a.m. London time and weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces.
The announcement was greeted by cheers outside the hospital, where die-hard royal fans dressed in patriotic Union Jack gear have been camping out on the sidewalk, eagerly awaiting news. Delighted chants of “Princess! Princess!” sounded outside the hospital’s private Lindo Wing.
A town crier in elaborate costume shouted out the news at the hospital’s door, clanging his bell to welcome the new royal. “May our princess be long-lived, happy and glorious,” said Tony Appleton, reading from a scroll in a booming voice. The palace said Kate, 33, and her infant were doing well, and that Prince William was present for the birth.

The Queen's former press secretary Dickie Arbiter is promoting his memoirs, which are believed to contain explosive insights into the inner workings of the royal family. His book, On Duty with the Queen, is said to claim that Diana felt "humiliated" by Charles' affair with Camilla Parker-Bowles.
It is also reported to describe the reaction of Prince Charles and the Queen to Diana's sudden death in a car accident in 1997.A palace source told the Daily Mirror: "Charles is furious. This man was a trusted friend."

An exhibition featuring well-loved toys, treasured family gifts and tiny outfits belonging to nine generations of royal children opens at Buckingham Palace on Saturday, 26 July 2014 at the annual Summer Opening of the State Rooms.
Royal Childhood brings together more than 150 objects relating to 25 children, from the future George IV to Prince George of Cambridge. Set against a backdrop of previously unseen photographs and private film footage, it gives an unprecedented glimpse into life as a young member of the royal family over 250 years.
Among the objects on display is the announcement of the birth of Prince George of Cambridge at 4.24pm on 22 July 2013, which was displayed on what must now be the world’s most famous easel – it even had its own Twitter handle.
The spectacular silver-gilt Lily Font, commissioned by Queen Victoria for the christening of her first daughter Princess Victoria in 1841 and used at almost all major royal baptisms since, is on display in the Music Room, alongside the silk-satin and lace christening robe worn by Prince George of Cambridge.
Curator Anna Reynolds adds the finishing touches to a model Aston Martin DB5 once used by Prince Andrew during a photo call for the Royal Childhood exhibition.
The progress book of Princess Elizabeth, the future Queen, documents the Princess's first outing at just 10 days old into the garden of her home at 17 Bruton Street, her first tooth (26 January 1927), and the moment she began to crawl (11 April 1927).
