KIMMER'S TOP 5 FAVORITE TV SERIES PLAYING RIGHT NOW

My favorite series are playing now too... Better Call Saul 3, Fargo 3, The Americans 5, and finished Sun Records.

Better Call Saul is AWESOME! So exciting this year! Lots of BR/BA characters are back to terrify us once more! The plot this season is really moving at a rapid pace. If I say anymore it will be a spoiler.. 5 STARS

Fargo 3 Is very interesting, all new characters, but not a lot of the drama of the first series. The characters are engaging though. Hoping the show picks up soon! 3 STARS so far...

The Americans is barely watchable this season so far. The writers keep focusing on that whiny daughter and she gets way too much screen time..Back to spying please!! 3 STARS

Sun Records was fabulous across the board but not too many people seem interested in it. The acting is good and the music is really good. Chad Michael Murray is kick ass as Sam Phillips! 4 STARS

My HULU binge for the week is Law & Order SVU. I am on season 5 now.. Love the series, not as much as the original with Chris Noth and company but love the cast on SVU. A lot of the cast come from all my favorite shows. Actually they got their start on SVU and moved on to more fame with other series. Fun to watch them, dark topics, not for the faint of heart! 4 STARS

As a giant fan of all that is FARGO...I am happy to share the new premiere date, Wednesday April 19, 2017at 10pm ET, with my readers! The new story begins in 2010 which is 4 years after the first season of Fargo. From what I have been reading the story has a lot tekkie/cell phone culture in the plot.

One of my favorite pages is Den of Geeks. They have a synopsis of Season 3. 

Set in 2010, the third season centers on “Emmit” and his slightly younger brother “Ray Stussy” (both played by Ewan McGregor). Emmit, the Parking Lot King of Minnesota, sees himself as an American success story, whereas Ray is more of a cautionary tale. 

Forever living in his more successful brother’s shadow, Ray is a balding and pot-bellied parole officer with a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he’s been dealt – and he blames his brother.

FARGO SEASON 3 WILL HAVE FAMILIAR CHARACTERS!

 

FX’s acclaimed anthology drama was set in 2006 for its Emmy-winning debut season last year, and then the action shifted to 1979 for its current second season. News just in.....

Season 3 of Fargo will take place a “couple of years after Season 1,” which took place in 2006. And here’s how Fawley answered when asked by EW if we’d be seeing familiar characters coming back for the new story, and whether there are clues to the plot embedded in Season 2.

"Potentially…There are going to be connections, the way the first year was connected to the movie and the second year was connected to the first, but I think part of the fun is figuring that stuff out and I wouldn’t want to take that away from anybody.
