HELP NEEDED TO CREATE AN EXHIBIT ON THE UNION CITY MASSACRE

Mob and public enemy era enthusiasts: Please join our cause. Please like their page, share it, and contact Union Station to let them know that Kansas City wants this permanent exhibit. This is a grassroots effort to tell an important story.

The Union Station Massacre is one of the most important events in the history of law enforcement, mob history, and the public enemy era.

A permanent, detailed exhibit deserves the space in beautiful Union Station. Their story is connected to Hot Springs, AR, and begins with the arrest of Frank Nash, and closes with convictions of several underworld figures from all over.

Please show your support by dropping by their page, and contacting Union Station about this.

THE BEST OF THE DOORS NOW IN QUAD HYBRID SACD

Audio Fidelity To Release “The Best Of The Doors”
On Quadraphonic 4.0 Multichannel Hybrid SACD
Available in multichannel for the first time since 1970!

Camarillo, CA – Much to the excitement of Doors fans and music fans worldwide, Marshall Blonstein's Audio Fidelity will be releasing “The Best Of The Doors -1973” On Quadraphonic 4.0 Multichannel Hybrid SACD! The 2-channel stereo and DSD layers of the hybrid SACD were remastered from the original 2-track tapes which are available for the first time since 1970. The 4.0 Quad layer mirrors the earlier CD-4 QuadraDisc format, Quadraphonic 8-Track and reel-to-reel tape. “The Best of The Doors -1973” compilation album was also released in standard Stereo.

The Doors were among the most controversial, influential and unique rock acts of the 1960's and beyond. After the death of Jim Morrison in 1971, the remaining members, Ray Manzarek, John Densmore and Robby Krieger continued as a trio until disbanding in 1973.

Each of the tracks on “The Best Of The Doors-1973” have been taken primarily from the original two-track masters of the eight albums recorded by the band between 1967 and 1971. Three of the band's studio albums, “The Doors” (1967), “L.A. Woman” (1971), and “Strange Days” (1967), were featured in the Rolling Stone list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. The popular rock magazine also listed The Doors as “One of The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time!” As a matter of fact The Doors have been listed as one of the greatest artists of all time by many magazines and in 1993 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

NEW JOE COCKER WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS: RELEASE HYBRID SACD!

Audio Fidelity To Release Music Legend Joe Cocker's
“With A Little Help From My Friends” Album On Hybrid SACD!

“Big, soulful exciting...One of Rock's greatest...A true classic!”

Camarillo, CA - In honor of music legend Joe Cocker's recent passing, Marshall Blonstein's Audio Fidelity is releasing his 1969 album, “With A Little Help From My Friends”, on hybrid SACD. The critically acclaimed album is one of those rare debuts that really captures an artist at their prime. The album is strong and confident and in many ways peerless and impossible to classify for it's a little bit of rock, blue-eyed soul, blues and pop rolled into one soulful rasp of a voice that results in a profound listening experience.

Cocker's voice is bolstered by some very sharp playing by an impressive list of British rock luminaries including Henry McCullough, Albert Lee and Jimmy Page, Guitar; Chris Stainton, Tommy Eyre and Stevie Winwood, keyboards, and Procol Harum's organist and drummer: Matthew Fisher and the late B.J.Wilson.

Besides the classic Beatles cover tune the album includes brilliant interpretations of material from Bob Dylan and Dave Mason as well as three originals. Cocker performed his radical re-arranged version of “With A Little Help From My Friends” at Woodstock and the tune was included in the popular “Woodstock” documentary film. In 2001 his totally gospel fueled rock 'n soul re-harmonization of the Beatles classic was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

INVASION OF PRIVACY BY IAN SUTHERLAND IS A MUST READ!

A website broadcasting hacked webcams. A killer spying on his victims. A murder investigation team stumped. Into this stumbles hacker Brody Taylor...

Ian Sutherland was brought up in the Outer Hebrides, idyllic remote islands off the west coast of Scotland. In an effort to escape the monotonous miles of heather, bracken and wild sheep, Ian read avidly, dreaming of one day arriving in a big city like London.

And then, at the tender age of 12 he was unexpectedly uprooted to Peckham, an inner city suburb of South-East London. Ian quickly discovered that the real London was a damn sight more gritty and violent than the version in his books and shown on tv. Undeterred, Ian did what he did best, and buried his head in books, dreaming of other places to escape to.

Roll forward some years, and Ian can still be found with his head in a book. Or, given that he enjoyed a successful career in the IT industry, an eBook Reader. And now, having travelled a fair bit of the globe in person and even more of it via the Internet, Ian lives with his wife and two daughters in a small idyllic village, surrounded by green fields, copses and the occasional sheep, yet located just outside of the London he finally came to love.

Here, he writes gritty, violent crime thrillers full of well-rounded characters, set in and around London and its suburbs. His stories also feature the online world that most of us jump into blindly each day, but Ian exposes its underbelly and dramatically illustrates how dangerous the internet can be for the unwary.

A FASTER HORSE: NEW MUSTANG DOCUMENTARY PREMIERED AT TRIBECA FESTIVAL

I am really looking forward to seeing this new documentary on the History of the Ford Mustang. I love the Mustang and owned two of them. I had a 1965 convertible and a 1988 Red GT. Just adored them...The history is a great story...Heard the film was great by some friends of mine who were at Tribeca on 4-18.

A FASTER HORSE

Masterfully crafted with gorgeous cinematography throughout, A Faster Horse wonders aloud how an American icon can be adapted for changing times. Director David Gelb cuts in a rigorous, high-energy look at the history of Ford and the emotional connection many have to the definitive muscle car—a chassis cool enough for Steve McQueen—moving the film beyond a car lover’s documentary to a resonant examination of American ingenuity, workmanship, and resilience.

PRINCESS DIANA'S WILL LEFT HER BOYS 30 MILLION!

For about $15, you can now own a piece of history. Princess Diana's will is one of millions that are now available with only a few clicks in a new online archive.

Her dispersal of her estate, which included leaving about $30 million to sons William and Harry, is one of 41 million wills dating back to 1858 available in a new British site that makes public records accessible online for a fee. The original documents are kept under security in a temperature-controlled facility in Birmingham. See Today Show Video Here

Following Diana's death at 36 in a car crash in Paris, her will stipulated that her mother should be consulted about her children's education and that $80,000 tax-free should be left to her butler and confidant, Paul Burrell.

"She wanted to make sure [her children] were showered with love,'' Robert Jobson, author of "The New Royal Family,'' told TODAY on Monday. "That's something she really agonized over when she split from Prince Charles. I think this will reflects that.''

NEW PHOTOS OF THE HUTCHINSON HOUSE IN YPSILANTI, MICHIGAN

I had the opportunity to shoot some great exterior shots of the Hutchinson House in Ypsilanti today. The Queen Anne House was built in 1903. It was also called Casa Loma and then became the High Scope Foundation. I  went to visit my friend Dee Gilbert and she lives on the property. She is in some of these photos.  READ THE BIO OF MR HUTCHINSON HERE
