Since we have been in lockdown for the past 3 months, I have been catching up on the stack of books that fans and readers have sent me over the past years. I just finished this cool book by Detroit Crime History Kingpin Scott M. Burnstein. 5 STARS

Scott M. Burnstein is an attorney, journalist, and organized crime historian. He is the author of Motor City Mafia: A Century of Organized Crime in Detroit and Family Affair: Greed, Treachery, and Betrayal in the Chicago Mafia. He is the co-author (with Phil Leonetti) of Mafia Prince: Inside America s Most Violent Mafia Family and the Bloody Fall of La Cosa Nostra.

Scott, as you can see, wears a ton of hats, author, tv personality, newspaper reporter, documentary film collaborator, and true crime historian. I trust his information explicitly and believe me he knows all...

THE MOST DANGEROUS ANIMAL OF ALL: NEW SERIES ON THE ZODIAC

The case of the Zodiac still unsolved after 4 decades. Why? There are many people who think they know who the Zodiac was (is). Can't we use GEDMatch and backtrack the DNA like they did with the Golden State Killer?

This new series looks really interesting. Gary Stewart wrote a compelling book on the Zodiac and now a new mini-series begins next month. Hopefully, this may lead to the final answer to who was the Zodiac.

The Most Dangerous Animal of All

Zodiac Killer is the pseudonym of an unidentified serial killer who operated in Northern California from at least the late 1960s to the early 1970s.

The Zodiac murdered victims in Benicia, Vallejo, Napa County, and San Francisco between December 1968 and October 1969. The killer targeted four men and three women between the ages of 16 and 29, with two of the men surviving attempted murder.

The Zodiac himself claimed to have killed up to 37 victims. The killer originated the name "Zodiac" in a series of taunting letters and cards sent to the local Bay Area press. The letters included four cryptograms (or ciphers). Of the four cryptograms sent, only one has been definitively solved.

Beginning Jan 15 on Netflix is a new True Crime series on the NFL player who was convicted of murder and later committed suicide in prison. what made him turn dark after landing such a lucrative contract with the New England Patriots? There are many questions waiting for answers in my mind.

Reportedly Hernandez blamed his mother for his issues but then most narcissistic disordered people are never to blame for their own actions.

Richard Kuklinski April 11, 1935 – March 5, 2006

On this day in 1935 one of the most talked about and controversial hitmen was born in New Jersey. His name was Richard Kuklinski, better known as The Iceman. Kuklinski was said to have murdered over 200 people, committing his first murder at the age of 14. He got the nickname Iceman because he would freeze victims to obscure the time that they were killed. He died in prison, in 2006.

Richard Leonard Kuklinski (Apr 11, 1935 – March 5, 2006) was an American contract killer who was convicted of murdering six people, though the true number of murders he committed is speculated to be over two hundred He was associated with members of the American Mafia ‎DeCavalcante crime family.
