STEVE HILL CHASES DOWN BANK ROBBERS WITH DOG CATCHING TRUCK!

I found this news article yesterday on the Ann Arbor Library page and it is a true story.. My cousin Steve Hill chased down some bank robbers with a dog catching truck! Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor folks might remember this...My uncle Dick and Steve are in the photos...

A limited duty officer with the Ann Arbor Police Department, Steve Hill (crouching, left) played a key role in the capture Thursday of three bank robbery suspects. Hill, shown with his father, Police Lt. Richard Hill (far left), and Police Chief Walter Krasny, indicates a rust spot on his dog control truck where a bullet might have glanced off the vehicle as he followed the suspects' fleeing car and radioed in its location to other police patron cars. Hill was unarmed as one of the suspects fired several shots back at his truck.
