SCOTT MORGAN BENEFIT THIS WEDNESDAY!!!

Come out to Ann Arbor at the NECTO to help my dear friend Scott
We'll be channeling the rock n roll roots of The Second Chance

Scott Morgan was 16-years-old when his first band played to an audience of 13,000 fans, literally stopping the show as the screaming crowd rushed the stage. Growing up in Ann Arbor, a hip college town 40 miles from Detroit, he fronted the Rationals and many more bands to come.

Community members, musicians and local businesses are coming together to help a music legend from Ann Arbor.

R.E.S.P.E.C.T.: The Ann Arbor Benefit for Scott Morgan will take place from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. June 20 at The Necto, 516 E. Liberty St., Ann Arbor. A silent auction will take place from 8 to 11 p.m. A $10 minimum donation is required at the door. Doors open at 8 p.m.

“It’s nice to have all of the support,” said Morgan, the lead singer of The Rationals, an Ann Arbor group that was popular back in the late 1960s. Morgan is battling liver disease and currently awaiting a liver transplant.

The event is named after the band’s late 1960s cover of Otis Redding’s “Respect." Other songs include “Gave My Love,” “I Need You” and “Hold on Baby.” The group, which included Morgan, Bill Figg, Terry Trabandt and Steve Correll, called it quits in 1970. READ FULL STORY HERE
