MY DEAR FRIEND STEVE TEACHOUT HAS DIED

Steve Teachout left and Dan Hyatt on right

Sad to learn tonight that my first guy pal from 2nd grade on up has died. Steve Teachout from Ypsilanti. We went to Begole, Thorne, Jr High and High School together. Then after high school we both worked at Hydramatic in Willow Run. I hated it and quit and he soldiered on to retirement...He was such a fun and loving guy!

Steve was the best dancer (I taught him to dance in 4th grade)...a fabulous baseball player. (he gave me my first glove)..he played short stop I think...he had the most infectious laugh and such a joy for living that few others can boast.. I remember in 2nd grade he was burning the trash in the backyard and caught his t shirt on fire..he rolled in the snow and put the fire out..our teacher made him demo his fire routine for every classroom at school...he was a shiny sparkly generous soul and I miss him always...

the photos are of Steve in I love you man shirt and U of M jacket with Dan Hyatt (who is just fine!) I will post better pics when I find some later today....thanks Carla Sanzi Leonard for letting me know...RIP Teach I loved you so much..xK
