WHY IS IT CALLED THE SNOW MOON?

The full Moon names used by The Old Farmer’s Almanac come from a number of places, including Native American, Colonial American, and European sources. Traditionally, each full Moon name was applied to the entire lunar month in which it occurred, not just to the full Moon itself.

THE WOLF FULL MOON JANUARY 2021

The next full Moon will occur on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at 2:16 PM ET, and is known as the Full Wolf Moon. It is also known as the Old Moon or the Moon After Yule.

January is already on its way out, 2021 is well underway, and we've got our first full moon of the year on the horizon. The full moon this month is referred to as the "Wolf Moon," and it's a powerful time for both releasing what no longer serves you, and harnessing that good lunar energy.

The Wolf is a symbol of guardianship, ritual, loyalty, and spirit. Wolf has the ability to make quick and firm emotional attachments, and often need to trust their own instincts. Thus they teach us to do the same, to trust our hearts and minds, and have control over our own lives.

ViacomCBS’s new streaming service Paramount+ has announced the new series The Offer, which is based on Oscar-winning producer Al Ruddy’s experience while making the hit movie, Deadline reports. Al worked closely with director Francis Ford Coppola along with Bob Evans and Mario Puzo on making the 1972 movie.

The 10-part series, produced by Paramount Television Studios, is written and exec produced by Michael Tolkin. Al will also serve as executive producer on The Offer. The Godfather won the Oscars for Best Picture, Best Actor for Marlon Brando, and Best Adapted Screenplay for Puzo and Coppola. Paramount+ is set to launch in 2022.
