EDIE BRICKELL KICKS THE HECK OUT OF PAUL SIMON!
The little shit deserved it.....Edie says she clocked him for "breaking her heart"...sounds like a cheater to me....
Hopefully Paul Simon will think again before he throws insults at his wife....of course Edie takes the blame...but...he is known for his temper too...She takes the blame...but we think he started this mess...
(CNN) -- Singer-songwriter Paul Simon said Monday that he and wife Edie Brickell "had an argument" before they were arrested Saturday.
Brickell, in a statement sent to CNN by her lawyer, said she started it.
"I got my feelings hurt and I picked a fight with my husband," Brickell said. "The police called it disorderly. Thank God it's orderly now"
Simon and Brickell were arrested on disorderly conduct charges by police investigating a family dispute at their New Canaan, Connecticut, home Saturday night, according to police. "Investigating officers gathered information and found probable cause to arrest" Simon, 72, and Brickell, 47, a police statement said.

PAUL SIMON'S 2012 CHILDREN'S HELP FUND BENEFIT CONCERT
Sting and his wife, Trudie Styler, have joined the star-studded lineup of the 25th anniversary benefit concert for the Children's Help Fund, a charity co-founded by Paul Simon.
Simon, Stevie Wonder and James Taylor are among the previously announced artists who will appear at the event, which is being held October 4 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Steve Martin and Latin pop star Ruben Blades also are among the bill's new additions.
The theme of this year's concert is family, and with that in mind many of the performers will be accompanied by members of their immediate clans. Simon will sing with his wife, Edie Brickell; Taylor will appear with his spouse, Caroline; and Wonder will hit the stage with his daughter Aisha.
Other celebrities scheduled to appear at the show include Tom Hanks and his wife, actress-singer Rita Wilson; country star Vince Gill and his wife, Christian-pop artist Amy Grant; and Tina Fey and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond.
The Children's Health Fund provides medical services to homeless and financially disadvantaged families throughout the U.S. The organization has aided more than 350,000 people since it was founded in 1987.
