Got a nice message tonight from one of my very favorite guys... Sonny Vincent.  You remember Sonny was the founder of the legendary NYC punk band The TESTORS.. Sonny is just finishing up a world tour.  This is what he had to say..BTW He has the most gorgeous voice on the phone....

"Hi Kim- My long tour is almost done, 3 more shows in Japan. hey Kim I'll give you a call in a couple of weeks concerning our last telephone call. Hope you are fine and well! Say hi to Dennis!!! Here are two reviews from the tour!!"

Sonny Vincent is one of the original New York Punks, recording since the late '70s and connected to such legends as Suicide, Teenage Jesus & The Jerks, and The Dead Boys. He's never stopped recording or performing and along the way has collaborated with members of the Velvet Underground, the Stooges, and the Replacements, among others. He's as talented and captivating as Richard Hell or Johnny Thunders, and it's pretty obvious Paul Westerberg swiped a few tricks from him. How he slipped under the radar is mystifying, but the good news is that he paid Tucson a visit that I, for one, will not be forgetting anytime in the near future. Full Story Here

Here we go, right from New-York, right from the good old time, right for the fight…and I was there to be the witness to what would be an epic gig organise by Teenage Lust Production who is a french label devoted to rock’n'roll, and only rock’n'roll., and let me tel you this night at la Miroiterie, it was f***ing Rock’n'Roll!!!

Teenage Lust Production invited a real legend, one of the most famous punk singer who let a such of big print into the 7O’s. So what! you will tell me…So what? are you kiding me, Did you know who I’m talking about, cause this dude is a real kick ass! Black guitars and crazy rhythm Sonny Vincent and his band called the HIT SQUAD, just make sound the Miroiterie like no one here before, precise and explosive like a fatal weapon, they played the gig super wild, and all the people who came to pack-up the front stage was in it to live every second of each song with a lot of intensity!
