HOMICIDE HUNTER WITH LT KENDA ENDS AFTER 9 SEASONS

I just finished watching the final episode of Lt. Joe Kenda: Homicide Hunter last night. It was tough watching it end and it was obvious Lt Joe was running out of cases. But we will miss him and his engaging sense of humor in this dark world of crime.

Murder changes everything for those left in the wake of the crime, but what about the investigator who solves the heinous crime? Meet Lieutenant Joe Kenda, a 23-year veteran of the Colorado Springs Police Department who reveals the vivid memories of the most disturbing murders that still haunt him to this today.

Homicide Hunter is a riveting non-fiction investigative series of murder cases told through the personal experience of retired Colorado Springs detective, Lieutenant Joe Kenda. The real Lt. Kenda narrates and actor Carl Marino portrays him as a young detective.

Season 9 was the final series but good news! Joe Kenda has committed to a new series for ID Network coming out in the fall of this year. Not sure of the title as of yet.

But thank you to all of the team behind Homicide Hunter for the years of compelling true crime entertainment!

Carl Marion plays young Lt Kenda

What will become of our favorite HH character Carl Marino? We hope he gets his own series soon. I know he has a ton of fans out there, I see them on Facebook. We love Joe but Carl definitely added to the success of the series. so ID Network give him a show!

OJ HAD HELP COMMITTING NICOLE AND RON MURDERS: NEW TRUE CRIME FILM

O.J. Simpson’s former manager, Norman Pardo, is making a documentary about the infamous murders — presenting the case that Simpson “didn’t act alone.”  According to a report on Page Six

Pardo — who describes himself as a friend of the NFL-great-turned-con, and worked with O.J. for nearly 20 years after his acquittal — has been developing the film for four years with co-executive producer Dylan Howard.

The series will be pitched next week to streaming services, cable and premium networks to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the homicides of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.

“For the first time, the most thorough investigation into the murder ever conducted will be shared with America,” said Pardo, who claims to have more than 70 hours of video of Simpson that nobody has seen. “We have assembled a team of internationally renowned criminal investigators, experts, and lawyers,” he said.  READ MORE

HOMICIDE HUNTER LT KENDA SEASON 8

My pal Robin and were talking on the phone this past summer and I told her I needed a new series to become obsessed with..Robin immediately jumped in with HOMICIDE HUNTER!!! So I tuned in to see Lt Kenda and "my my my" I love him.... He is not easy to find unless you have ID on cable tv. I saw part of the series on Amazon and another part on Hulu. But I highly advise you true crime aficionados like me to go hang with Lt Joe!

New Season 8 Premiered Wednesday, August 29 at 10/9c on the ID Network or you can stream it on Amazon with no commercials!

HOMICIDE HUNTER: LT JOE KENDA is a riveting non-fiction investigative series of murder cases told through the personal experience of retired detective, Lieutenant Joe Kenda. With his personal interviews and compelling storytelling style, Kenda captivates us with the details of a different investigation each week, beginning from when he got the homicide call to when the case was closed.

Unlike many true-crime shows, this series delivers the realities of the emotional and psychological effects of a murder on the investigator. Set in Colorado, a state known for its suburban lifestyle, these murders are all the more compelling because they are stories of homicide that can happen to anybody.
