As I was doing some research tonight I found this invention timeline... Look at the huge inventions of the 1960s! Bar code scanner/video games/computer RAM/and a ton more... Lots of things we now use everyday some 40 years later.. Incredible...

This is Soo interesting and i am not surprised. I have often said if we see it on tv in a movie-the type of stuff like you saw in "TAKEN" and others-it is already outdated! lol and when we get it-it has been used by government first

One of the pavilions of the 1964 World's Fair in NY had a guestbook to leave comments about what innovation displayed at the fair impressed you. I wrote in that it was the microwave oven: perhaps it took a non-cook like me to realize what a boon this would be. More timeline: desk computers were just coming into the company the year I left A&M Records' art department (1978.)
