MYSTIC OVERFLOW
After playing both the Detroit International Jazz Festival and Nelson Ledges with the new revised Rainforest Band in 2010, Perry and I were both left with a reservoir of unexpressed music as well as a spiritual inspiration from the concerts. The day after, we recorded Mystic Overflow in my Sage Court Studio. Love M.

This album was done between 1985 and 1991 while traveling between Oakland California and Detroit, Michigan. I was venturing off trap drums into drum machines and synth programming with overdubs on voice percussion and solos. It was partly influenced from recording at The Disk Ltd. with George Clinton and P-funk, Sly Stone and more. This music helped contribute towards me receiving the "Voices for Peace" award in Hiroshima, Japan, along with Blues from the Rainforest type music that I was involved with at the time
