Julian Lennon & Timothy White

Have Partnered To Co-curate

A Rock Photography Exhibit At

Morrison Hotel Gallery During Brit Week

Acclaimed photographers Julian Lennon and Timothy White join forces to curate a one-of-a-kind British Rock Photography exhibition called British Subjects. The exhibit will run from April 22nd until April 28th at Morrison Hotel Gallery, at the Sunset Marquis Hotel. British Subjects will feature exciting work from both Lennon and White, and a selection of other works from acclaimed photographers such as Terry O'Neill and Lawrence Watson among others.

©BritWeek was founded in 2007 by Nigel Lythgoe and the then British Consul General Bob Peirce, and hosts a dynamic program of events in Los Angeles to celebrate British culture and creativity. Its 2015 program includes over 40 events all over the city in fashion, art, music, technology, business and design. ©Brit Week will take place from April 22nd until May 3rd.

Julian Lennon's sensitive and poetic vision of life courses through his exquisite photography, philanthropic pursuits, and his acclaimed music. In 2007, Julian founded the global environmental and humanitarian organization The White Feather Foundation. He produced the compelling documentary whaledreamers that was shown at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and earned 8 International Film Festival Awards. He has emerged a renowned photographer and garnered many outstanding reviews for his iconic images, which have been exhibited several times at Morrison Hotel Gallery in both the Los Angeles and the New York locations. On June 4th 2013 he returned with his first album in 15 years, the stunning Everything Changes (Music From Another Room), a masterwork of powerfully vulnerable and sophisticatedly accessible adult pop.

Timothy White, a co-owner of the Morrison Hotel Gallery at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, is one of the most sought-after celebrity photographers in the country. For over thirty years, he has captured the intimate, playful sides of legendary actors, actresses, and musicians, as well as the innocence of up-and-comers. Named one of the most important people in photography by American Photo, Timothy White has received several photography and film awards, including the International Photographer of the Year. Timothy White's photographs are exhibited in galleries and museums worldwide.
