Mary Grace Canfield
Mary Grace brought her own personal style to any role she played. Watch the ending scenes in Pollyanna...It's Angelica that makes the audience cry...so poignant....Mary Grace often played gruff on the outside but soft hearted on the inside type characters...we loved her RIP
Mary Grace was most famous for her role as the clumsy carpenter Ralph Monroe on Green Acres. She greeted everyone in Hooterville with "HOWDY DOODIE" She was in over 40 episodes from 1965-1971.

Angelica on Pollyanna
She is survived by her daughter Phoebe, John Bischof, her husband of 25 years; daughter Alison Carey; and three grandsons.
Mary Grace was a serious actress and really could play drama quite well and being famous for a comedic role as Ralph Monroe kind of irked her. The part was very demanding you might say.
