I spent some time this week catching up with recent developments in this terrible unsolved cold case from 1996. JonBenét Patricia Ramsey (August 6, 1990 – December 25, 1996) was an American child beauty queen who was killed at the age of 6 in her family's home in Boulder, Colorado. A lengthy handwritten ransom note was found in the house.
From the beginning, a lot of law enforcement and the public scrutinized the parents. Especially suspect was the way Patsy Ramsey displayed her child in the beauty pageant circuit. It was shocking and still, we have no closure on who was responsible for this poor child's demise.
The family was eventually cleared through DNA and there are 2 new shows that I watched/listened to that are quite interesting.
JonBenét's father, John Ramsey is actively participating in both series to help solve the 23-year-old mystery
