STEVIE NICKS HEADLINES ELTON JOHN GALA

Elton John will host the 11th edition of his annual charity gala, An Enduring Vision, which raises money for his AIDS Foundation. Elton always selects a special musical headliner to join him at the event, and this year, it'll be Stevie Nicks. In addition, Anderson Cooper will return as host for the event, which last year raised $2 million.

Also at the gala, which will take place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, John and his partner, David Furnish, will hand out Enduring Vision Awards to a selection of philanthropists who have contributed to the foundation.

An Enduring Vision is one of several fundraising events staged throughout the year for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Among the upcoming benefits are the Fashion Cares 25 gala, dubbed A Night of Glitter and Light, which takes place this Sunday in Toronto; and the Smash Hits tennis tournament, scheduled for October 16 in Pittsburgh.
