The dates for Neil Young's 26th annual Bridge School Benefit Concert have been announced. The shows, which Young organizes with his wife, Pegi, will take place this October 20 and 21 at their usual venue -- the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
A complete lineup for the events is expected to be unveiled soon. Among the stars who joined Young to perform at the 2011 edition of the Bridge School shows were Carlos Santana, Tony Bennett, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder and jazz singer Diana Krall.
The annual concerts featuring a variety of artists performing acoustically to raise funds for the Bridge School, a facility co-founded by Pegi Young that aids children with physical impairments and severe communication difficulties.
This year's shows will take place in the midst of Neil's fall North American tour with Crazy Horse, which is scheduled through a December 4 show in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
Meanwhile, fans who donate to the Bridge School via its official Facebook page can receive a variety of gifts, including the Bridge School Concerts 25th Anniversary Edition DVD and CD sets. In addition, those donating $100 will have the chance to win one of five copies of the DVD collection autographed by Neil.
